2. What is a DNA test?

The DNA test is tested on 700 genes in your body. You will get to discover what your body really needs.

3. How can I do the DNA test if I’m staying outside of Klang Valley?

For the customers who are staying in Klang Valley, our dietitian will be contacting you to set an appointment at your convenience. For customers who are staying outside of Klang Valley, we will send you the DNA test kit directly to your home/office address and tutorial on saliva collection will be provided.

4. How will I send back the DNA test kit? Who will be receiving the kit?

You will be provided with a tracking form and drop the parcel at EasyParcel drop point. You will need to pack the parcel securely and stick the tracking form on the parcel.

5. Who is eligible to take the DNA test?

From 6 months old to all ages of adults and this test will be eligible only for Asians.

6. What are we getting when doing the DNA test?

By doing the DNA test, you will get to know the Nutrients Needs & Food Sensitivity, Psychology & Physical Traits, Health & Genetic Risk and Cancer Risk.

7. How does the data handling and security manage the DNA test and result?

8. How will I get the DNA test result?

You will be getting the DNA test result directly to your email address within 18-30 working days from the saliva collection appointment date.

9. Do I need to have a consent before taking the DNA test?

You do not need any consent before taking the DNA test, however, for a child under 18 years old, consent by parents or caretaker is required.

10. Is the DNA test tax deductible or not?

Yes, DNA tests are tax deductible.

11. How will the DNA test be performed?

It is a non-invasive test. We only take the sample from your saliva. We will give you the tube and you have to spit a certain amount of saliva until you reach the black line on the tube.

12. Who will be providing the DNA test?

Curax is partnered with Diet Ideas Sdn Bhd and Diet Ideas team will be contacting you for the saliva collection appointment, DNA test kit courier arrangement and consultation with dietitian.
